These terms are the agreement between you and WorkItOut. They cover the WorkItOut apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows, and the website at workitouttraining.com. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
The short version. Train sensibly — WorkItOut is a training tool, not a coach, a doctor or a safety device, and it controls a machine that changes resistance under your legs. Your training data stays yours. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you cancel wherever you bought them. Do not try to break, resell or abuse the service. We are a small operation and we do not promise the app is flawless or always available.
WorkItOut is operated by Shay Dubrovsky, Tel Aviv, Israel. Contact: support@workitouttraining.com. How we handle your data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
WorkItOut does not give medical advice. Workouts, training plans, FTP estimates, readiness and form scores, and anything the AI coach writes are general training information produced by software. They are not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not a substitute for a qualified professional.
Indoor training is strenuous exercise. Before starting or changing a training programme, speak to a physician — particularly if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or illness, take medication that affects heart rate, or have been inactive for a long period. Stop immediately if you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness or unusual shortness of breath, and seek medical help.
You decide what you are fit to do. Targets shown in the app are suggestions, and you are free to ignore them, lower them or stop at any point. You train at your own risk.
WorkItOut connects to smart trainers and sensors over Bluetooth and, in ERG and simulation modes, actively changes the resistance of your trainer, including without warning when a workout interval or a course gradient changes.
Set your equipment up safely: secure the bike in the trainer, check the skewer or thru-axle, keep the area clear of children, pets and obstacles, and make sure you can stop pedalling and dismount at any time. Follow your trainer manufacturer's own instructions and safety warnings — they take precedence over anything in the app.
We do not manufacture trainers and cannot control how a given model responds. Bluetooth connections drop, firmware behaves inconsistently between brands, and resistance may not change when or by how much the app requests. Do not rely on the app to hold, reduce or release resistance for your safety.
You can sign in with Google, with Apple, or continue anonymously. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure, and for activity that happens under it. You must be at least 16 to use WorkItOut.
Anonymous accounts live on one device. If you sign out, reinstall, or lose the device without first linking a sign-in provider, that data cannot be recovered — by you or by us. Link an account if your history matters to you.
Parts of WorkItOut are free. Others require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency.
Where you buy determines who bills you. Purchases made inside the iOS or Android apps are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms, and appear on that account. Purchases made for the desktop apps are processed by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record and whose terms apply to the transaction. We never see or store your card details.
The apps you download from the App Store and the Mac App Store are separately licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ, it governs your licence to that copy of the software, and these terms continue to govern the service, your account and your data.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until it ends.
Cancel where you bought. App Store subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple account settings, Google Play subscriptions in Google Play, and desktop subscriptions through the link in your purchase confirmation or by writing to us. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. One trial per person.
We may change prices or what a plan includes. Changes take effect at your next renewal, never mid-period, and we will tell you before they do so you can cancel.
Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their policies; we cannot issue them. For desktop purchases, and where consumer law in your country gives you a right to withdraw or a refund, write to support@workitouttraining.com and we will honour it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
Your rides, workouts, plans and settings are yours. You keep ownership of them. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your data, sync it between your devices, and process it to produce the features you have asked for.
You can export your rides as standard .fit files and take them elsewhere at
any time, and you can delete your account and its data from inside the app. What we
collect and how long we keep it is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Some features build workouts and training plans, and answer questions, using a third-party AI model. When you use them, the request and the training context needed to answer it are sent to that provider for processing. This is described in the Privacy Policy.
AI output is generated text. It can be wrong, inconsistent, or unsuitable for you specifically, and it is subject to section 2 like everything else: it is not medical advice. Read what it produces before you ride it.
Do not:
We add, change and remove features as the app develops, and we may pause the service for maintenance. We do not guarantee uptime, and we depend on services we do not control — hosting, sign-in providers, payment processors and AI providers — any of which can fail or change their own terms.
If we ever discontinue WorkItOut, we will give reasonable notice, stop charging, and leave you a way to export your data first.
The app, the website, the WorkItOut name and logo, and the workout library we author remain ours. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use WorkItOut for your own training, and nothing more.
WorkItOut is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that measurements — power, heart rate, FTP, TSS, distance, elevation — are accurate, or that data will never be lost.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost training history, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of WorkItOut.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some countries do not allow the exclusions above, in which case they apply to you only as far as that country permits.
You can stop using WorkItOut and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of any subscription.
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
If these terms change materially we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use WorkItOut after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
