WorkItOut

Features

Everything here is in the shipping app. Where something depends on your hardware, it says so.

Smart trainer control

WorkItOut talks to your trainer directly over Bluetooth — no bridge, no desktop software. It supports FTMS and ANT+ FE-C trainers, plus separate Bluetooth power meters, heart rate straps and cadence sensors for trainers that do not report their own.

Structured workouts

Build a session by what you have to spend — time, training stress, or calories — and ride it with live targets, an interval bar and a running breakdown. Finishing a ride stores every second of power, heart rate and cadence, so it can be reviewed interval by interval afterwards.

Training plans that adapt

Generate a multi-week plan around a goal and the days you can actually ride. The plan tracks what you completed rather than what was scheduled, and the daily suggestion reads your recent load instead of a calendar — so a hard weekend produces an easier Monday.

FTP testing

Ramp and 20-minute tests are built in, with the result offered for review rather than written silently, and every workout rescaled once you accept it.

Real roads

Ride real elevation profiles with the trainer following the gradient, alongside a live map, profile and grade readout. Or take a free ride and leave the resistance where you put it.

Training load across every sport

Fitness, fatigue and form tracked over time — and not only from indoor rides. Runs, walks and other activities imported from Apple Health or Health Connect count toward the same picture, because your legs do not distinguish between them.

Your data stays yours

Any ride exports as a standard .fit file you can upload wherever you like — Strava, Garmin Connect, TrainingPeaks, intervals.icu. There is no account to connect and nothing is uploaded on your behalf.
